Hampshire County Chamber Celebrates One Year Since Its Return at the Summer Business Social

The Hampshire County Chamber of Commerce celebrated a very special milestone during this year’s Summer Business Social. Held during the week of Summer Harvest Festival, the event officially marked one year since the Chamber’s return.

Over the past year, the Chamber has grown, reconnected with the business community, and continued building momentum throughout Hampshire County. We are proud to share that since our return, the Chamber has grown to 138 members and paid partners and counting.

This growth would not be possible without the support of our existing members, new members, paid partners, board members, volunteers, and community supporters. We are incredibly grateful for each and every person, business, and organization that has believed in the Chamber and supported our mission to help strengthen and connect local businesses.

A special thank you goes to Cyndi and Teresa for hosting us at Hampshire Social Event Venue, located at 352 E Main Street in Romney. Previously known as the Country Store on Main, this beautiful space has been transformed into an intimate event venue that can be used for a variety of gatherings, celebrations, and community events. With its thoughtful layout and location right in the heart of Romney, Hampshire Social Venue provided the perfect setting for an evening of networking, celebration, and connection.

We would also like to thank 1762 Wine & Brew for bringing their beer trailer, wine selection, and wine slushies for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. Thank you to Personalized Impressions for providing the official Summer Harvest Festival merchandise, giving attendees a chance to support and celebrate one of Hampshire County’s favorite weeks of the year.

Thank you to Johnny Duncan of Full Throttle Customs / Cam’s Quick Lube for providing our door prizes, and thank you to Jenna Gelow Designs for capturing the evening through photography.

We are also deeply grateful to our Chamber Board members and volunteers who continue to give their time, energy, ideas, and support to help move the Chamber forward.

Since the Chamber’s return, we have hosted successful networking events, learning series, and collaborations with local businesses in and around Hampshire County. These events have helped create space for connection, education, visibility, and support for businesses of all sizes.

We want to thank each and every one of you for believing in the Chamber and for wanting to see it grow just as much as we do. Your support, participation, and encouragement are what make this work meaningful.

As we continue to build momentum and create more value for our members and partners, we have exciting things on the horizon. Be on the lookout for upcoming events, announcements, programs, and new opportunities to get involved.

We invite entrepreneurs, businesses of all sizes, and anyone considering opening a business in Hampshire County to join the Chamber as a free member. For those looking for added exposure and benefits, our paid partnership tiers offer additional opportunities to connect, promote, and grow. Retired, not a business owner, or simply want to support the Chamber’s mission? You can also become a Friend of the Chamber.

All membership and partnership options can be found at hcccwv.com/join.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us for the Summer Business Social and helped us celebrate this exciting one-year milestone. We look forward to continuing to grow with you.
